Australia's Number 1 by Independant Survey

 

 

During September 2004, Paterson Consulting conducted a magnetic pain relief product awareness research project.

Consisting of a quantitative survey of Australian pharmacists, and utilising the ICC/ESOMAR International Code of Marketing & Social Research practice, the research investigated the awareness of magnetic pain relief products amongst these health professionals, and determined which magnetic pain relief products they would recommend.

Over 600 pharmacists were surveyed. They were based in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania, with their pharmacies drawn at random from the Yellow Pages and in proportion to the population of their respective state or territory.

Thirteen different pharmacy brands of Magnetic Pain Relief Products were observed during the survey.
 


Dick Wicks is recommended substantially more than any other magnetic therapy brand:

  • Dick Wicks is clearly the most recognised brand, achieving the highest levels of spontaneous awareness and is also the brand pharmacists are most likely to recommend.
  • Pharmacies recommending magnetic pain relief and magnetic underlay products are two and a half times more likely to recommend Dick Wicks than any other brand.
